Celebrating Life Through Stories

Updated: May 1, 2022

Richmond, VA - In January of 2015, Diana LéGere founded Arabelle Publishing with the dream to produce personal history books and fundraising cookbooks. Arabelle’s first book was published in 2017, which was Feeding Families Authentic Southern. It was a story that celebrated a prominent food bank in Virginia, and it was done for charity. By 2018, Arabelle became a Christian publisher that focused on spiritual and personal growth for women.

“I’ve always had a passion for writing and publishing and believe everyone has a story,” LéGere said. “We want to celebrate the lives of ordinary people who impact communities. Our goal is to find talented writers who love Jesus and have a story to tell.”

Arabelle’s newest release, Embolden by Amy & Blair Debrucque, is set for April 23. Embolden is an inspirational journal for women that celebrates confidence and courage. The book is meant to give women resources where they are and help them move forward. It is available for sale at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The book can also be previewed at bit.ly/_embolden.

Recently, Arabelle has expanded to include author coaching and editing services. The program is called Faith Writer’s Bridge, which is for first-time authors who want to self-publish. Through this program, writers get one-on-one attention to create a plan, find motivation, and gain momentum to finish their book.

Arabelle Publishing currently has nine titles. Some of these include Just Breathe – A Modern-Day Exodus to Revive Your Soul by Andrea Bourgeois and Rest in God – A Prayer Journal with 100 Prayers and Scriptures for Daily Needs by Yvonne M. Morgan.

The company has several new authors selected for fall 2021 and early 2022. Arabelle has a goal to publish at least 10 new titles in 2022. Their spring release of May 2021 will be Anchor My Soul by Andrea Bourgeois. Other releases set are More of Him, Less of Me by Chelsey DeMatteis, founder of Living with Less Podcast, and Counting Spoons by Kathryn Inman in January 2022.
